With most industry giants moving towards the new foldable formfactor its possible that Google might join them soon and launch its new Pixel Fold. The Phone would be a continuation of the already existing line of Foldable from Pixel including the Pixel 9 and pixel 9 Fold.
Google would have to take a big leap with the new foldable as the old one didn’t quite knock it out of the park. The Phone is going to be leap forward and allow the users to have a completely new experience with top of the line specs and a profound camera setup.
Expected Prices
The Pixel fold is as of now available for Rs 1,72,999, its possible that the new model would continue to keep the same prices without much of an increase. This could be the reason since anywhere above the Rs 1,75,000 mark the phone would turn out to be too expensive for the users. If google launched the new foldable soon the prices of the old gen foldable would definitely go down and the sales for the same could rise as well.
Camera Of the New Pixel Foldable
As per the reviewers the camera of the last gen phone were quite underwhelming, hence Google would have lodge a new high Res camera that can easily live up to the expectations. We are yet to see any leaks and rumors regarding the Pixel 10 fold camera’s. Considering the prices Google would make the phone more serviceable to provide the users with a better experience.
As of now it appears that the new Pixel Foldable would have a 48 Mp camera, 10.5 Mp ultra wide camera, 10.8 Mp telephoto camera with 5 x zoom and tow 10 Mp selfie camera for both the displays.
Storage
The previous gen Pixel foldable came with a 256 Gb variant as well as a 512 Gb storage. As it appears that the new pixel model would be developed on the same chassis as the older one and hence the phone would have the same storage as that of a 256 GB and 512 Gb of storage. This could possibly be done to keep the major costs of research and development of a new phone chassis at bay.
Design
The design of the new version could be quite similar to that of the older gen with flat polished metal edges, Victus Gorilla Glass Back, Thin Bezels and a square aspect ratio. On the back the phone would have the same metallic camera module , and similar cutout selfie cameras.
Screens
Both the screens used in the phone would be 120 hz refresh rate, this would be the de facto best we can expect from a modern flagship. OLED technology means that the blacks as well as the colors and contrast would be more vivid than before. Both the primary screens would have HDR support and 2700 nits peak brightness. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold would have the same battery as that of the old one. Google has not yet revealed any details about the expected launch of the phone, So if you are planning to buy a foldable phone right now you would have to go with the Samsung fold or the existing Pixel Fold in the lineup.
