The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test declares the Eligibility Criteria 2022 for the candidates who want to apply for the exam. UPCATET Eligibility Criteria 2022
UPCATET offers various UG and PG courses and both have different criteria to apply. Each course requires minimum aggregate marks and an age limit for both PG and UG courses. The Eligibility Criteria for UPCATET 2022 are listed below.
Educational Qualifications
The educational qualifications for the various PG and UG courses are given by the exam conducting body for the candidates to satisfy.

Age Limit Criteria
There are Age Limits Criteria for applying for admission in various streams offered by UPCATET.
As of December 31, 2022, candidates should be more than 16 years and less than 22 years in age. However, for the BVSc&H course, candidates should be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years in age as of December 31, 2021. It may be noted that candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category have an age relaxation of five years for any course they apply for.
Number of Attempts
There is no limit on the Number Of Attempts to apply for the UPCATET 2022. A candidate can apply as many times as they want for the UPCATET Entrance Exam.
Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Exams
The Aggregate Marks in the Qualifying Exam are set by the exam conducting body. For each stream, the aggregate marks for qualifying exams vary accordingly.
- BSc (Honours) Agriculture/ BSc (Honours) Horticulture/ BSc (Honours) Forestry: Candidates should have cleared Class 12 with Agricultural Science/ Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subject to meet UPCATET eligibility criteria.
- Bachelor in Fisheries Science (BFSc): Candidates should have cleared Class 12 with Agricultural Science/ Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subject to meet UPCATET 2022 eligibility criteria.
- BSc (Honours) Home Science: Candidates should have cleared Class 12 in the Arts stream with Home Science/ PCB/ PCM/ PCMB/ Agricultural Science subject to be eligible for the UPCATET exam. Only female candidates can opt for this course, informs the official website.
For PG courses, the candidate must complete the UG degree with minimum qualifying marks.
UPCATET 2022 National Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be an Uttar Pradesh resident. If not, he must stay in the state for at least 5 years. The candidate’s father must be a resident of the state. If not, he must stay in the state for at least 5 years.
UPCATET Eligibility Criteria for Foreign/NRI Students
NRI or PIO candidates cannot apply for admission to PG and UG courses through UPCATET. The candidate must be an Uttar Pradesh resident.

Eligibility for Admission to Participating colleges for UPCATET 2022
For Admission to Participating colleges for 2022, the candidate must pass the UPCATET 2022 exam with the given minimum cutoff.Candidates qualifying in the UPCATET exam are called for the counselling round as per merit. In the UPCATET 2022 counselling session, candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses and universities.

The Reservation is available as per the existing rules of the Government of India. The UPCATET offers reservations for the mentioned communities. The community certificate must be provided.

The UPCATET Entrance Exam requires the following documents 10 and 12 mark sheet,
