The Odisha LTR syllabus is divided in to prelims and mains. The LTR Prelims syllabus includes subjects like General Studies, Reason ability, current affairs and computer awareness. The selection process includes a Prelims (if the number of applicants is more than 5 times the number of vacancies), Mains Exam, and Certificate Verification. The Prelims and the Mains will be objective-type exams for 100 and 150 marks respectively. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
