C gives Rs.150 to B

New ratio A:B:C = 12:14:13

Let the initial shares be 12x, 13x, and 14x for A, B, and C respectively.

After transfer:

A's share = 12x

B's share = 13x + 150

C's share = 14x - 150

New ratio A:B = 12:14

⇒ \(\frac{12x}{13x + 150} = \frac{12}{14}\)

⇒ \(\frac{x}{13x + 150} = \frac{1}{14}\)

⇒ 14x = 13x + 150

⇒ 14x - 13x = 150

⇒ x = 150

Total amount = 12x + 13x + 14x = 39x

Total amount = 39 × 150

Total amount = 5850
