Given:

Side of cube = 21 cm

Formulas used:

Volume of sphere = 4/3πr3

Calculation:

The largest sphere that can be carved out of a cube of side 21 cm will have the diameter equal to 21 cm.

Radius of sphere = 21/2 cm

Volume of sphere = 4/3 × 22/7 × 21/2 × 21/2 × 21/2

⇒ 11 × 21 × 21

⇒ 4851 cm3

∴ The required result is 4851 cm3.
