Calculation

Initial ratio milk:water = 5:3
Let quantity = 8x ⇒ milk = 5x, water = 3x

New milk = 5x + 10  
New water = 3x + 7
New ratio:
5x + 10 / (3x + 7) = 8/5
25x  + 50 = 24x + 56
x = 6
Milk = 5x = 30 Liters
