Age limit (For Male Candidates)

The candidates interested in applying for the various posts of the Indian Army GD Agniveer must satisfy the minimum and maximum age requirements. For various posts, the age limits are as follows:

Age limit (For Female Candidates)

• Minimum: 17.5 years
• Maximum: 21 years

Candidate born between 01 Oct 2003 to 01 April 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. 01st October 2024 will be taken as effective date for determining age eligibility for candidates.

Educational Qualification

C. Physical Measurements

Male Candidates

The candidates must fulfill the minimum height, weight, and chest measurement criteria. These requirements vary as per the particular rally. 

*Note: Relaxation in Physical Standards is either for wards of Servicemen/ Ex-Servicemen or sportsmen (not both) and is in addition to the special Physical Standards.

Female Candidates

• Height: 162 cm
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age

Nationality

Candidates from all across the country are eligible to apply for the posts. The candidates must however satisfy other criteria.

Number of attempts

There is no limit to the number of attempts. The candidates can appear for the exam as many times as she wants provided she satisfies other eligibility criteria.
