The candidates must satisfy all the criteria stated by the Bar Council of India in their official notification. The candidates must satisfy all the conditions required to sit for the exam on the exam day. The AIBE exam eligibility criteria are given below:

The main advantage of the AIBE XX (20) 2025 Exam is its age limit. There isn't any upper or lower age limit for the AIBE examination. AIBE Exam Eligibility for PWD Candidates
The academic eligibility for AIBE applicants, in the case of physically challenged or disabled candidates, is the same; however, such candidates have to make sure that they possess a:
- A disability certificate issued by a medical authority.
- It is necessary that the certificate of disability specifies 50 percent or more disabilities within specific categories of blindness, amputated arms, or any other physical incapability.
This is a prerequisite if candidates wish to avail an extended exam duration by 20 minutes per hour, i.e., the candidates will be allowed an extra time of one hour for AIBE Exam Duration.

AIBE Exam Eligibility for Obtaining COP (Certificate Of Practice)
Candidates appearing for AIBE have to attain minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by BCI so as to be eligible for awarding a Certificate of Practice. Minimum AIBE COP Eligibility Mark requirement is as mentioned below:
- Candidates falling under the General/ OBC category need to attain at least 40 % marks from the total scores of the AIBE exam.
- The candidates of the SC/ST/PWD category should secure at least 35% marks in the AIBE examination.
