Age Limit
According to the Age Criteria for HSSC Motor Vehicle Inspector, all applicants must be at least 18 years old and the maximum age limit is 42 years old. However, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has provided the applicants' various age relaxations that vary for each category. Read the table given below carefully to check the different age relaxations provided by the organization:

Note: The upper age limit of an applicant of any category (except Ex-servicemen) shall not exceed 52 years who is entitled to avail the benefit of relaxation in age of one or more of the categories mentioned above.
Educational Qualifications
All candidates must fulfill the given set of educational requirements that are mentioned below, as per the Eligibility Criteria for HSSC Motor Vehicle Inspector 2023.
- Matriculation from a recognised Board
- A diploma in Automobile Engineering (three year course); or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (three year course) from a recognized institution;
- Holding a driving licence authorizing to drive motorcycle with gear and light motor vehicles.
- Should have knowledge of computers.
