Calculation:

⇒ \(\dfrac{{\cos 20^\circ }}{{\sin 70^\circ }}\) = \(\dfrac{{\sin(90^\circ-20^\circ) }}{{\sin 70^\circ }}\) = 1

⇒ \(\dfrac{{\cos\theta }}{{{\rm{sin}}\left( {90^\circ - \theta } \right)}}\) = \(\dfrac{{\cos\theta }}{{{\cos\theta}}}\) = 1

⇒ 1 + 1 = 2

∴ The correct option is 2.
