RRB Technician Eligibility 2025, Age Limit and Qualification

The Railway Recruitment Board prescribes the RRB Technician Eligibility Criteria for the aspirants along with the notification.The Railway Recruitment Board has set specific age limits for different posts under the RRB Technician 2025 recruitment, as per CEN-02/2025. For the post of Technician Grade-I Signal, candidates must be between 18 to 33 years of age as on 1st July 2025.

Meanwhile, for the post of Technician Grade-III, the age limit is 18 to 30 years. Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and others as per government rules. Applicants must ensure they fall within the specified age range before applying for their desired post.

RRB Technician Medical Standards 

The eligibility of the candidates will also be tested on the basis of medical standards. Candidates who fail to meet these medical standards will not be considered for the recruitment process. Aspirants with physical and/or visual disability must fill the disability form with their documents attached. 

RRB Technician Nationality Criteria 

To be eligible for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfill the nationality criteria as specified by the Government of India.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India or a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan. Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle here permanently, are also eligible. Additionally, individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intent of permanent settlement in India can also apply.
• However, candidates falling under these categories must possess a valid Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Max. Number Of Attempts for RRB Technician Exam

Applying for the RRB Technician post does not require any prior experience. Candidates with or without work experience are eligible for the post.
