Given:

Registered voters at Centre B = 5400

Percentage of people who voted at Centre B = 70%

Registered voters at Centre C = 6500

Percentage of people who voted at Centre C = 85%

Formula used:

People who did not vote = Total registered voters - People who voted

Percentage more = ((Difference in people who did not vote) / People who did not vote at Centre C) × 100

Calculation:

People who voted at Centre B = 5400 × 70% = 3780

People who did not vote at Centre B = 5400 - 3780

⇒ People who did not vote at Centre B = 1620

People who voted at Centre C = 6500 × 85% = 5525

People who did not vote at Centre C = 6500 - 5525

⇒ People who did not vote at Centre C = 975

Difference in people who did not vote = 1620 - 975 = 645

Percentage more = (645 / 975) × 100

⇒ Percentage more = 66 2/13 %.

∴ The number of people who did not vote at Centre B is 66 2/13   more than those who did not vote at Centre C.
