How Many Students Appeared in JEE Main 2025?

A total of 13,11,544 students registered for the JEE Main 2025, with 12,58,136 candidates appeared in both Paper 1 and Paper 2, resulting in an attendance rate of 95.93%. This year, the JEE Main 2025 application process saw an increase of 1.6 lakh registrations compared to previous years. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 was conducted from January 22 to 30, 2025, across 618 exam centers in 304 cities throughout India, along with 15 international centers.

Why is there a decline in the number of students nowadays?

Have you noticed that the number of JEE Main candidates either registered or appeared has decreased by more than a lakh? The question is - why is this so?
