Telangana High Court Civil Judge Selection Process

• Screening Test - Computer Based Test for 100 marks comprising 100 multiple choice objective type questions. The duration of the exam will be two hours.

• Viva Voce - Candidates must secure not less than 60% of marks in Papers I and II in the written examination shall be eligible for viva voce of 30 marks.

Telangana High Court Civil Judge Exam Pattern

Candidates will have to go through a Screening Test followed by a Written Exam, and Viva-Voce. A computer based “Mock Test” will be made available on the website of the High Court, for the sake of practice for the candidates. The exam pattern for the screening test and written exam has been shared below. 

Screening Test

To shortlist the candidates, the High Court will conduct a Screening Test (Computer Based Test) for 100 marks comprising 100 multiple-choice objective type Questions. The duration of the examination will be two (2) hours. ​

Written Test

• The written test includes three papers- Civil Law, Criminal Law & English
• Paper III will be qualifying in nature.
• The exam duration is 3 hours for each paper.

Viva Voce

The viva-voce will be 30 marks. Viva voce is conducted to assess the suitability of the candidate for the cadre by judging the mental alertness, knowledge of the law, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgment, skills, attitude, ethics, power of assimilation, power of communication, character and intellectual depth and the like of the candidate.
