समजा, पाच क्रमवार सम संख्या: a, a +2, a +4, a + 6, a + 8
⇒ a + (a + 2) + (a +4) + (a + 6) + (a + 8) = 2720 (प्रश्नानुसार)
⇒ 5a + 20 = 2720
⇒ 5a = 2720 - 20
⇒ 5a = 2700
