As per the revised SSC Calendar, the SSC JE Notification 2025 will be released on June 30 at ssc.gov.in. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released on August 5. The SSC JE Apply Online 2025 will start on June 30 and last date will be July 21. SSC JE Tier 1 Exam 2025 will be held from October 27 to 31. The exam will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit Junior Engineers under various departments of the Central Government. A total number of 1701 Vacancies were finalized for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination.

SSC JE Apply Online 2025
To apply online for the SSC Junior Engineer, Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps:
Part I: Online Registration on SSC Portal
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to the SSC website and then click on the "Register Now" option in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Start Filling the Application Form after Registration
Fill out the form with your Aadhaar number, name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth.
Step 3: Fill the Educational Details
Fill out the form with your gender, highest educational qualification, cellphone number, email address, and current and permanent residence.
Step 4: Save the Details & Confirm OTP
Now, save these details and confirm your mobile number using an OTP provided to your registered cellphone number.
Step 5: Log In with New Credentials
Log in with your new login credentials and update your password to something more personal.
Step 6: Select Category, Nationality & Other Details
After that, choose your candidate category, nationality, visible identity mark, and benchmark disability.
Step 7: Attach Scanned Photo & Signature
In the form, attach a scanned copy of your current passport-size photo and signature.
Step 8: Save Data & Click Submit
Save the data, examine the details, and then click the "Final Submit" button.
Step 9: Enter OTP sent to Your Email Address
Two separate OTPs will be emailed to your email address and mobile phone number; enter any of them into the box.
Step 10: Click Agree & Finish Registration
Then, underneath the declaration, click the "I Agree" button to finish the registration procedure and proceed to the online application form and fee payment.
Part II: Online SSC JE Application Form
Step 1: Log In using Registration Number & Password
Use your Registration Number and Password from Part I to log in to Part II of your application procedure.
Step 2: Click on Apply Link
Next, click on the Apply for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) link.
Step 3: Choose Your Exam Center
List 3 exam centers of the same region as per your preference.
Step 4: Submit Your Educational Details
Select the position for which you wish to apply and then submit your highest qualification and stream of education.
Step 5: Click Submit & Proceed to Pay
Check the 'I Agree' box and then enter the captcha code that appears on your screen. You will get a preview of your form, and after you are pleased, click the submit button to proceed to fee payment.
Step 6: Pay the Application Fee
Pay the application fee and print a copy of the application form for future reference.
SSC JE Application Fee 2025 (Expected)
The candidates belonging to the General/OBC category have to pay Rs. 100 while candidates from SC/ST/Female do not have to pay any fee to apply for the SSC JE Examination. Fee can be paid via BHIM UPI, SBI Challan/ Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit/Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

SSC JE Selection Process 2025
The SSC JE selection process 2025 will be done in four stages given below:
Paper I
The candidates have to appear for Paper I, which comprises 200 multiple-choice questions. The test is designed to check their knowledge in all subjects and carries 200 marks. Each question carries one mark, and the candidates are expected to complete the test within the time allocated.
Paper II
Next, the candidates have to appear for Paper II, which consists of 100 objective-type questions. This exam has a weightage of 300 marks, and the performance of the candidates is crucial as it constitutes a considerable portion of the total assessment.
Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test (For Candidates Applying in BRO)
For candidates applying to BRO, there are Physical Standard Tests and Physical Efficiency Tests. These test the physical fitness of applicants in order to determine if they can be allocated to a task that would require them to do highly strenuous jobs.
Verification of Documents
