• The SSC CGL Tier I Examination is expected to have 4 sections - Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language
• Each section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks which makes it a total of 50 marks per section
• The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
• There is a provision for negative marking of 0.50 marks per wrongly answered question.
• The total marks can hence be calculated in the examination as -

  • Total Marks = 2 marks for Correct Answer and 0.50 marks deducted for each wrong answer

SSC CGL CBI Inspector Tier II Exam Pattern 

Only candidates who qualify for Tier I will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the examination i.e Tier II. Candidates can check the detailed Exam Pattern for SSC CGL CBI Sub-Inspector Tier-2 from the table mentioned below.

• The Tier-II stage of the examination will be held in a separate shift(s)/ day(s). 
• There are 3 papers in the SSC CGL Tier II examination.
