CSIR NET Certificate Validity - Know The Validity of CSIR NET Certificate

The National Testing Agency will conduct the CSIR UGC NET Computer Based Test  from 16th February, 2025 to 28th February, 2025. The NTA conducts the CSIR NET examination twice a year, in June and December. This examination is mainly held for the five basic Science subjects- Chemical Science, Earth Science, Life Science, Mathematical Science and Physical Science. Candidates aspiring to become a Junior Research Fellow and/ or Assistant Professor in Science and Technology must appear for this examination. Upon successfully qualifying for this examination, candidates will receive the CSIR NET Certificate. The CSIR NET certificate validity is different for the JRF and Lectureship candidates. • For the June 2022 cycle, the CSIR NET certificate was issued in December 2022, almost two months after the final result's release.
• The E-certificate can be downloaded online from the website provided by CSIR NTA.
• Only candidates who qualify for the CSIR NET examination and whose necessary documents are in place as per the CSIR UGC guidelines can download their respective certificates.

CSIR NET Certificate Validity For JRF

Candidates who apply for the CSIR NET JRF position and successfully qualify for it as well are eligible to download the CSIR NET e-certificate. But the essential thing is the validity of CSIR NET JRF certificate. The certificates come with an expiry date for the Junior Research Fellowship position. For the position of JRF, the CSIR NET Certificate validity period is two (02) years from the date of issuance of the certificate or the w.e.f date mentioned in the certificate. CSIR NET Certificate Validity For Lectureship

Candidates who opted for the CSIR NET Lectureship position and qualified for this position are eligible to download the CSIR NET e-certificate for the Assistant Professor or Lectureship (LS) position. Unlike the two years validity of the JRF certificate, the CSIR NET Certificate validity for Lectureship is for a lifetime. Candidates who qualify for the lectureship position can use the certificate at any point after their qualifying period as long as it is announced as invalid by the recruiting authority. CSIR NET Certificate Validity: Essential Documents

Following are the critical documents that need to be sent to CSIR to be able to download the e-certificate. Only candidates whose documents are in order will be able to download them.

• Copy of Marks statement (CSIR NET Score Card) with rank and result 
• Xth class certificate (issued by the respective board) as proof of date of birth. 
• Degree/provisional certificate of qualifying exam/M.Sc or equivalent degree. 
• Final mark sheet with the required percentage of marks. 
• CGPA/SGPA/OGPA/CPI etc., conversion formula of their respective University/ Institute or certificate from the concerned University/ Institute clearly stating the percentage of marks in the qualifying degree. 
• Bifurcation of marks/period in case of a dual degree. 
• Caste certificate, if applicable. 
• Latest OBC Caste Certificate (Non-creamy layer) as per format given on NCBC website. (www.ncbc.nic.in). (Which is also given in Appendix-1 of the Information Bulletin of the Joint CSIR UGC JRF NET Exam June 2022) if applicable. 
• Divyang (PWD) candidates should submit certificates as per Govt. of India rules. 
• EWS Category certificate (Income and Asset Certificate) issued by the appropriate competent authority for the Financial Year 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 as per the format given in Appendix-V of the Information Bulletin of the Joint CSIR-UGC JRF NET Exam.

CSIR NET Certificate Validity: How To Download CSIR NET Certificate

Follow these steps to download the CSIR NET Certificate smoothly-

Step 1: Visit the official website of CSIR UGC NET E-certificate.

Step 2: Select your institution as “Joint CSIR-UGC NET”, type the given code, and finally, click on “Proceed”.

Step 3: Enter your roll or application number, date of birth as in application, exam session, and captcha code and click on “Proceed”.

Step 4: Your CSIR NET certificate will be displayed on the screen. Download and print the certificate for future use.

Remember, on this website, you can download the certificates only from December 2019 cycle onwards.
